T.B.D. is the only instrument in my collection that is yet to be named. This guitar is made from woods harvested in Northern Illinois where I reside. Years ago I purchased a slice of walnut from a fallen tree in the area, and I was waiting for the right moment to arise. T.B.D. features two pick guards made from Birdseye maple that form a semi-colon. During the global pandemic of 2020 it became apparent to me just how important nature is to our well-being and emotional stability. For a short period our parks were closed, and although I may not agree with people breaking laws in order to experience them, their actions made clear just how important it is to go outside and breathe fresh air. This guitar was made for charity; in time, it will be named andl realize its purpose.
